ExplorUS unifies 30 properties on Cloudbeds
ExplorUS is moving six tech systems to the Cloudbeds platform across 30 properties to improve reporting, revenue, and guest engagement.

ExplorUS, a major U.S. park concessionaire, is consolidating six separate technology platforms onto the single Cloudbeds hospitality system. The coast-to-coast operator will unify 30 properties to strengthen portfolio reporting, commercial performance, and guest engagement.
The concessionaire manages hotels, lodges, restaurants, retail, camping, and marinas in more than 200 park destinations. This diversity created a significant operational challenge. The company needed greater portfolio-wide consistency and visibility while preserving each destination's necessary flexibility.
A Unified Operating Model
By connecting all locations and data, ExplorUS expects to gain a clearer view of overall performance. Teams will get stronger tools to improve revenue, manage occupancy, and optimize average daily rate. Operational consistency, guest marketing, and engagement are also key goals.
Duke Christopher, Vice President of Lodging and Guest Experience at ExplorUS, explained the rationale. "We are building a more connected and disciplined operating model across ExplorUS," he said. The model supports the company's stewardship mission while aiming to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Addressing Operational Complexity
ExplorUS runs six different kinds of hospitality business under one mission. Until now, that meant six different systems telling six different stories about performance. Cloudbeds will not simplify what the teams do. Instead, it provides one place to see all operations clearly.
Rafael Blanes, Chief Growth Officer at Cloudbeds, commented on the partnership. "We're giving them one place to see all of it clearly, so they can spend less time reconciling reports and more time on guests and stewardship," Blanes stated. This unified view is akin to having a single, clear standings table for the entire business portfolio.
The Technology Partner
ExplorUS selected Cloudbeds, described as the hospitality management system built for ambitious hoteliers. The platform was chosen for its flexibility and ability to provide clear, actionable insight across the business, offering the kind of detailed operational stats needed for strategic decisions. The strength of the partnership was also a factor, supporting both operational complexity and long-term growth.
Christopher noted that Cloudbeds stood out for its ability to unify multiple systems while still adapting to each destination's unique needs. The consolidation aims to create a fully unified ecosystem from the previously fragmented technology landscape. The project covers 30 properties across the national portfolio.
