GuestRevu has launched a new integration with Access Collins. This connection helps hospitality businesses automatically gather feedback from restaurant guests by using accurate reservation data.

Access Collins is Access Hospitality's enterprise platform for bookings, enquiries, and table management. It is used by restaurants, pubs, clubs, and experience venues. The platform helps teams manage reservations and allocate tables efficiently. It is also the primary booking engine for the DesignMyNight discovery platform.

The integration allows Collins reservation data to flow directly into GuestRevu. Businesses can then automatically send tailored feedback surveys to guests after their visit.

Development for Heartwood Collection

The integration was first developed for Heartwood Collection. This group operates Heartwood Inns and Brasserie Blanc. The business moved its restaurant reservations to Collins and wanted to keep using its established GuestRevu feedback process.

Rob Trippett is the IT Director at Heartwood Collection. He said the business had previously benefited from a GuestRevu integration with its old booking system. He stated Heartwood Collection needed a seamless integration with Access Group's Collins system. Trippett said GuestRevu implemented the migration for the main booking data feed in good time, without fuss or drama.

How the Integration Works

The connection collects key reservation information. This includes the guest's name, contact details, booking reference, and reservation type. It also gathers business source, market segment, booking status, and visit dates.

This data automates the distribution of GuestRevu surveys. Each survey contains the business's own questions, branding, and service criteria. Completed responses come into GuestRevu alongside feedback from review sites. This gives teams one place to analyse guest sentiment and spot recurring trends.

Chris Alexandre is the CEO of GuestRevu. He said integrations should remove work from teams without making the guest experience feel mechanical. He stated connecting Collins data with GuestRevu lets businesses gather feedback consistently at the right moment. They also keep control over their questions and branding.

Expanding the Access Ecosystem

The Collins integration expands GuestRevu's connections within the Access Hospitality technology ecosystem. GuestRevu already integrates with Guestline. Guestline is another Access Hospitality platform widely used by hotels to manage property operations and guest bookings.

Together, these integrations can help hotels and hospitality groups connect feedback with different guest journey stages. This can link an overnight stay to a restaurant or bar visit within the same property.

Martin Verdon-Roe is the General Manager for F&B at Access Hospitality. He said interoperability is incredibly important to hospitality customers. He stated the ability to connect existing systems helps create smoother operations and gain more value from technology. Verdon-Roe said Access is pleased to support GuestRevu's new integration with Collins and the benefits for mutual customers.

Activation Process

The integration connects with the Collins Reservations API. Businesses wanting to activate it must request API access from The Access Group. They must also provide GuestRevu with their API key and venue ID.

Once configured, eligible reservations are collected and processed automatically. This reduces manual exports and helps teams gather a more consistent flow of guest feedback. The GuestRevu integration with Access Collins is now available to mutual customers.
