Cathay Pacific Offers Rare Business Class Deals to Asia, Preferred Hotels Partners with Revolut for UK Loyalty Program
Cathay Pacific has released business class deals to Japan and Hong Kong, while Preferred Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Revolut to make its loyalty program accessible to UK residents.

Cathay Pacific, a high-quality carrier, has released rare business class deals to Asia. Members of The British Airways Club can earn Avios and tier points when flying with Cathay Pacific.
## Rare Cathay Pacific Flight Deals to Asia
Cathay Pacific business class deals are rarely available, but there are currently some good options running out of Europe. The deals include:
| Destination | Price (€) | Flight Details | | --- | --- | --- | | Frankfurt to Hong Kong (non-stop) | 2,457 | Return, travel from November onwards | | Madrid to Tokyo (via Hong Kong) | 2,450 | Return, travel from November onwards | | Madrid to Osaka (via Hong Kong) | 2,450 | Return, travel from November onwards |
Availability is decent, and tickets are refundable for €300. Flights should be on the A350. However, be careful with Frankfurt to Hong Kong as some flight options are actually codeshares with British Airways or Lufthansa.
## Preferred Hotels Finally Gets a UK Transfer Partner
Preferred Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Revolut to make its loyalty program accessible to UK residents. The loyalty program, I Prefer, allows members to earn points and redeem them for hotel stays, gift cards, or discounted cash rooms.
According to the company, members will receive 2 I Prefer points for every 1 RevPoint transferred. The partnership is currently only available in the UK and can be accessed through the Revolut app under the 'Stays' options in the RevPoints redemption part of the app.
Preferred Hotels & Resorts is the world's largest marketing group of independent hotels, but it has a relatively low profile compared to other hotel chains. The company has given it quite a bit of coverage, including a review of Swinton Park in the Yorkshire Dales in 2024.
There are three ways to redeem I Prefer points:
- Use a small number of points (often just 3,000) to get a discounted cash room at a hotel - Redeem for a hotel room using a standard points-based chart - Redeem points for gift cards valid at any Preferred Hotels property (weakest deal)
If you don't have an existing balance, the only realistic option would be to transfer a handful of RevPoints to book a discounted room. These deals are not always available, as hotels tend to use them to quietly fill rooms off-peak.
