Hotel Equities expands Austin portfolio with Lodgic

Hotel Equities has partnered with Lodgic Hospitality to manage its three-hotel portfolio in Austin, Texas. The properties include Aloft by Marriott Austin Northwest, Tru by Hilton Austin NW Arboretum, and Hilton Garden Inn Austin Central. These hotels are owned by entities affiliated with Lodgic Hospitality and its investment partners. The partnership expands Hotel Equities’ Austin presence to seven hotels and its Texas portfolio to 25 properties under management, with another currently under construction. David Rosenberg, President of Hotel Equities’ Focused Service Division, said Austin is one of the most competitive hospitality markets in the country and that the three properties strengthen their position there. He added that their focused-service team brings Lodgic the same aligned, hands-on operating model used across their portfolio and nationwide. He explained they chose to partner with Hotel Equities to bring additional scale, systems, and specialized resources to the day-to-day operations of these assets.
