World of Hyatt Launches New Hotel Member Bonus Offer
Hyatt has replaced its previous 500-point-per-night bonus for new hotels with a new offer providing double base points, capped at 25,000 bonus points.
World of Hyatt members can now earn double points on qualifying stays at newly opened hotels. The new offer provides double base points at new hotels, up to 25,000 bonus points per stay, replacing a previous flat-rate bonus.
Members must book the specific 'New Hotel Member Bonus Offer' rate to earn the double points. This new rate cannot be combined with other discounts, loyalty rates, group rates, packages, or other promotions. The 'New Hotel Member Bonus Offer' rate may cost more than standard rates and may not always be the cheapest option available.
Earning and Posting Points
Bonus points are earned on eligible rates and eligible incidental charges. Elite status bonus points are not doubled under this promotion. The 25,000 bonus point maximum is reached after a member spends $5,000 on eligible charges during a qualifying stay.
Points are posted to the member's World of Hyatt account within two to four weeks after checkout.
Offer Terms and Conditions
The offer is subject to World of Hyatt program terms and conditions. A limited number of rooms at each hotel are allocated for this offer, and reservations are subject to availability. Promotional blackout periods may apply, and normal arrival and departure restrictions are in effect.
The offer is valid for qualifying stays with a check-in date during each participating hotel's individual offer period. Consecutive nights at the same hotel are considered one stay. Members can earn points on up to three rooms booked under the offer.
Changes to Previous Offer
World of Hyatt ended its previous 500-bonus-points-per-night offer for new hotels on October 1, 2026. The new double points rate replaces that flat bonus. Hyatt introduced the change to control point distribution and reduce unclaimed rewards.
The new structure applies to eligible properties. As of October 1, 2026, 64 locations worldwide are participating. Two Canadian hotels are part of the offer: The Clayfield and Hyatt Select Kingston. Each hotel has its own offer period. The promotion is only available for a limited time.
