Accor and Four Seasons launch Amex cashback deals
Accor and Four Seasons have launched new cashback deals with American Express, offering £75 and £150 back respectively on qualifying hotel stays.

Accor has launched a cashback promotion with American Express for stays at its Pullman, Swissotel, and Movenpick brands. Guests will receive £75 back after spending a total of £300 across these brands. The offer is valid for stays completed by December 31st, 2026.
According to the source, Head for Points, cumulative spend across the three brands counts towards the threshold. The offer is technically only valid on check-out spend, but pre-paid bookings may sometimes trigger it. Travelers must check if they are targeted via the American Express app or website and save the offer to their card. Participating hotels are located globally, with a strong presence in Australia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Tunisia, the UAE, and Vietnam, as well as across Europe.
Four Seasons £150 cashback deal
The luxury Four Seasons chain has also introduced an American Express cashback offer. This deal provides £150 back on a spend of £750 by November 30th, 2026. The list of participating properties is extensive, covering all three UK hotels and numerous locations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. No properties in Asia or the Americas are included.
The source notes this offer includes stricter wording on qualifying spend compared to the Accor deal. It explicitly blocks online check-out, requiring guests to settle their bill in person at the front desk to be eligible. Head for Points states that, in practice, this rule may not always be enforced, but it remains the official requirement.
For those booking a Four Seasons stay to use this offer, the source recommends booking through their luxury hotel partner, Emyr Thomas at Bon Vivant. As a Four Seasons Preferred Partner, bookings made through him come with exclusive benefits. Payment is made on departure, which should not interfere with claiming the cashback.
IHG rebrands Bora Bora resort
IHG has announced the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort Thalasso Spa will be rebranded as a Regent resort. The property has been closed since June 1st, 2026, for renovation and is scheduled to reopen in late 2027. The transformation is described as significant.
There are two InterContinental resorts in Bora Bora. The Le Moana property will remain under the InterContinental brand, while the Thalasso is expected to move upmarket under the Regent flag, likely commanding higher rates. The 84-villa, all-overwater resort is located on a private motu and will offer direct lagoon access with views of Mount Otemanu.
IHG stated the redesign will bring Regent's "distinctive expression of modern upper luxury" to the destination, focusing on immersive dining, exceptional design, and connections to Polynesian culture.
Regent's brand expansion
This rebranding marks the third InterContinental property transitioning to the Regent brand, following similar moves in Cannes and Hong Kong. The source speculates that the InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam may also switch to Regent if its long-delayed refurbishment is ever completed, as its boutique style does not fit the typical InterContinental model.
The move provides a small boost for the Regent portfolio, which recently lost the Porto Montenegro hotel.
