Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club on Cape Cod has earned national recognition in the 2026 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. The property was named the #8 Best Destination Resort in the United States, while its Beach House Spa ranked #6 among the nation’s Best Hotel Spas.

Both The Mansion and The Villages at Ocean Edge were also recognized among the Top 20 Resorts in New England in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards. The announcement was made on September 30, 2026.

The resort blends luxury accommodations with distinctive Cape Cod experiences

Set across 429 acres in historic Brewster, Ocean Edge offers diverse lodging and amenities. The historic Mansion is a AAA Four-Diamond property and a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Historic Hotels of America. The Bay Pines Collection villas are positioned just steps from the resort’s private Bay Pines Beach.

The Villages offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas for longer stays. Charm on Main is an adults-only property in downtown Brewster offering elevated access to Ocean Edge experiences. The resort features Cape Cod’s only Nicklaus Design golf course, reserved exclusively for guests and members.

Recreational activities include tennis, pickleball, kayaking, and access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Wellness offerings encompass an infrared retreat room and the year-round Beach House Spa.

Travel Outlook’s partnership ensures seamless, brand-aligned guest service

For the past two years, Travel Outlook has managed Ocean Edge’s reservation calls. The partnership began with overflow support and now provides reservation call support across the entire resort.

Travel Outlook’s hotel reservation specialists learn and honor the individual brand of the hotels they represent. The company maintains longstanding relationships with Forbes Travel Guide and Kennedy Training Network (KTN). Its commitment includes customized training, ongoing mystery-shop evaluation, and in 2026, its 15th consecutive year of KTN certification.

Leadership and seasonal appeal shape the Ocean Edge experience

General Manager Kyung Lee leads the resort. Ocean Edge leverages Cape Cod’s 'Second Summer' season, which refers to the month of September. This period features warm ocean waters, lingering sunny days, and a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere.

As Second Summer gives way to fall, crisp ocean air and changing foliage offer another way to experience the property. John Smallwood, President of Travel Outlook, highlighted the resort's appeal. "Ocean Edge gives its guests something increasingly rare-the freedom to create a Cape Cod stay that is truly their own," he said.
