Cloudbeds and Oolio partner to unify hotel management and point-of-sale
Cloudbeds has partnered with Oolio to integrate property management with point-of-sale systems.

Cloudbeds has announced a partnership with Australian hospitality technology provider Oolio. The deal connects Cloudbeds' property management platform with Oolio's point-of-sale systems to unify hotel accommodation and on-site spending data.
The integration links Oolio's Bepoz, Swiftpos, and Idealpos platforms directly with Cloudbeds. This aims to give operators of hotels, resorts, and multi-venue properties a single system for managing guest activity and the revenue it generates.
How the integration works
The partnership creates a direct API connection between the two companies' software. This allows hospitality businesses to post eligible food and beverage charges from restaurants and bars directly to a guest's Cloudbeds folio in real time. Staff can also verify guest and room information directly from the point-of-sale terminal before posting charges.
The system is designed to reduce manual data entry between separate property management and point-of-sale systems. It also aims to cut down on billing errors during busy service periods by automating processes that typically require manual reconciliation.
Benefits for hotel operators
Sebastien Leitner, Vice President of Partnerships at Cloudbeds, stated that hospitality businesses are becoming more diverse. He said the partnership connects more operations behind the scenes while expanding the technology available to Cloudbeds customers across Australia. "It's about giving operators greater flexibility to run complex hospitality businesses without creating more complexity for their teams," Leitner said.
The integration supports multiple hospitality environments, including independent hotels, resorts, and pub groups. Oolio's technology currently powers more than 22,000 venues across Australia.
Kris Satish, Group CEO at Oolio, emphasized the need for unified technology. "Hotels and resorts need their technology to work together just as closely as their teams do," Satish said. He noted the partnership helps operators remove manual steps between accommodation and food and beverage services.
Supported point-of-sale platforms
The integration connects Cloudbeds with three specific Oolio point-of-sale platforms. These platforms cater to different types of hospitality operations.
The partnership is positioned to help operators manage guest spend more efficiently across an entire property. It focuses on creating a less fragmented billing experience for both the business and its guests.
